The Börger Bioselect stands for efficient separation technology. Using a purely mechanical process, liquid parts are separated from the solid parts in the medium.
The Bioselect RC is well known for its sophisticated operating principle. With a throughput of up to 150 m³/h (660 usgpm) it is one of the most powerful separators in the world.
The Börger BioSelect range of separators will operate from a fixed gantry but also provide the option of mobility for operations that need to manage slurry across multiple locations. This mobility option makes them ideal for contractors or farms that need to service different sites, offering cost savings and convenience.

01 Inlet opening
The medium to be separated enters the Bioselect through the inlet opening.
02 Wedge wire screen
The liquid phase flows through the screen to the liquid outlet [4].
03Auger
The auger rotates in the wedge wire screen. It transports the solids into the press channel [5].
04 Liquid outlet
The liquid drains through the liquid outlet.
05 Press channel
Powerful subsequent dewatering takes place in the press channel.
06 Multi Disc
The Multi Disc seals the press channel. When the desired solid content has been reached, a small gap opens and the loosened solid phase is discharged.
07 Easy-Shift unit
The DS content is adjusted manually by means of the Easy Shift unit. Alternatively, the DS content can be adapted fully automatically (pneumatically) by means of a control unit.

Patented technology for reduced wear
The auger has a profile groove in which fibers are caught.
This “brush surface” prevents metallic rubbing between the auger and the wedge wire screen. In addition, the brushing surface cleans the wedge wire screen.

Simple and flexible adjustment of the dry matter content
DM of up to 40% can be achieved by increasing the tension of the Multi-Disc.
It can be adjusted manually by means of a wrench or fully automatically (pneumatically) by means of the control unit.

Two stages for optimum separation results
The Bioselect has two filter sections.
In the drainage area, drainage takes place without pressure. In the press channel high pressure is produced; here, the wedge wire screen has reinforced filter bars.
The two-filter system ensures maximum efficiency and the longest possible service life.

Energy efficient. User friendly. Compact.
-
Large flow rates with low energy consumption
 -
"Everything from a single source” - separator, pump, control unit and service
 -
Very simple and cost-saving installation - connect the pipes, attach the power supply and it's ready to use.
 -
Compact, space-saving design, ideal coordination of the operation of all components (e.g. feed pump, macerator, liquid phase pump, Bioselect)

The BioSelect range of separators are designed to meet the demands of both small and large-scale operations.
For abrasive media - BLUEline Nova tough
For conveying abrasive media containing solids, Borger have developed the Nova tough. A radial and axial casing protection protects the entire pump casing.
The protection plates and liners are perfectly integrated into the pump casing in a flow-optimized design. In case of wear, the casing protection is replaced quickly and easily thanks to the MIP® design (Maintenance in Place).
